You run a successful business, so successful in fact that you have a remote team of employees on board. You love your remote team; you have a personal connection with each and every team member and value them beyond anything else. However, recently you’ve started to notice that morale has been a little lower than usual and your team aren’t as happy as they once were.

Admittedly, times are tough right now for everyone, but it’s still important that you ensure that your team members are happy. Because when a team lacks morale it can begin to impact productivity and work efficiency, which isn’t something that you want to see happen. So, bearing that in mind, it’s important to ensure that you give your team members’ morale a boost.

Wondering how you can help put a smile back on your remote teams’ faces? Below are a few tips and suggestions for ways in which you can boost morale within your remote team – read on for everything that you should know!

Send them vouchers to update their home offices

Where your team members work is a crucial space, so why not send each team member a voucher that they can use to update and upgrade their home office? Just think how amazing it would be for each team member to be able to overhaul their office space and create somewhere that they love working in. You could either send them vouchers for a DIY store to purchase the items that they need or you could give them Amazon vouchers instead. A newly refurbished office space is sure to put a smile on your team members’ faces.

Treat them to self-care packages

If you’ve noticed that your team have been a little stressed out recently, then they might benefit from a self-care package. You could either opt to make these packages up yourself to send to them, or you could purchase a pre-made self-care package, such as a Wellbox, for instance. You will be amazed at how much a little treat like a self-care package can boost team morale. When you do something nice for your team, they know you care about them, which helps to make them feel more valued, and thus morale increases.

Give them a bonus

Another way to boost morale could be to give your team members a bonus. If you feel like everyone has been working really hard and you can afford to give out bonuses, it might be a good way to give morale a little boost. A bonus is a great way to say thank you to your team and make them feel valued and appreciated, which is why it can be such a great step to take. If you don’t want to give money, instead consider offering vouchers to be spent at their favourite store – you can always ask each team member where they would like vouchers to.

There you have it, a few simple ideas for boosting morale for your remote team members and making working from home more enjoyable.
