Recruitment Apprentice

We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice to join our organisation in Cheltenham. Although we are a relatively new business we have recently demerged from a highly successful recruitment firm who have a proven track history in developing apprentices in the recruitment industry … our last 3 have now got very successful careers within the industry!
You will work alongside 1 previous apprentice who has now been working in the industry for 3 years; since the completion of their apprenticeship they now manage the temporary division for the business with another consultant. In addition to this you will have the full support of one of the Directors of the business who has trained and mentored the previous incumbents to their current levels of success.

It requires huge levels of commitment as sometimes you will have to work above and beyond to make sure your clients and candidates get the exceptional service we pride ourselves on.
Daily duties can include: Speaking to clients and candidates, taking job roles that need to be filled, writing & posting job adverts, interviewing candidates, shortlisting for roles, managing the new starter process including references, checking in candidates and ensuring they are performing as the client requires, client site visits, assisting with payroll and many many more tasks!
The role does involve some administration but the main duties will be sales and customer service focused so we do need someone who wants to excel in this type of arena.

You will start on above the minimum wage for apprentices and this will be reviewed and increased every 3 months as you learn and develop in the role. In addition to this you will be paid a commission for your contribution towards the team!
