We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work directly for a Head of Department for our client based in Quedgeley.

Your responsibilities will involve day to day administration duties, diary management to include the organisation of meeting rooms, sending agendas and preparing paperwork and documents when required for these meetings. An integral part of the role will be liaising both internally and externally with stakeholders and key suppliers. You will be assisting in making travel arrangements both in the UK and worldwide; assisting with putting together itineraries and liaising with other teams to organise flights and accommodation.

On a daily basis you will be using software databases, so extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential for this role. A flexible approach to work is required as well as the ability to work across multiple projects at one time.

As the perfect candidate you will have experience in a similar administration role and be extremely proactive when prioritising workload under minimal supervision. You must be enthusiastic and a quick and willing learner with an exceptional eye for detail. Communication and a professional approach to work is essential, as is a full diving licence.

This fixed term contract until 31st July 2017 does requires you to be away for 4 weeks in June & July 2017 (Unfortunately this is non-negotiable) and the salary will be £18,000 – £20,000.
