Introducing Zoë Cousens

This month, Zoë Cousens is our special guest on Women’s Business Voice. As one of the winners of our Top Ten Voices Campaign, Zoë speaks to us about her long career in finance, beginning as one of the first women dealers at the London Stock Exchange. This formative experience shaped her attitudes in the workplace, allowing her to stand firmly, independently, and to advocate for female empowerment in other areas of life. Now, at age 62, she is the founder of the Women’s Investment Network and teaches vital money management skills to women who desire financial independence. She proves that the key to a successful career is to adapt to changing environments and to keep learning every step of the way - as she is now training to become an Executive Coach in her field.

Women's Business Voice Podcast 🎙️

Zoë has an incredible story which we are delighted to have captured in on our Women's Business Voice Podcast 🎙️After moving from the small island of Guernsey to bustling London, she made a name for herself in the city and never let the male-dominated field of finance affect her professional progress. In this episode, she speaks on the attitudes she received from men in the workplace, and the need to set boundaries to reduce conflict. She also talks about making the move from the UK to Dubai, and how she navigated this switch with minimum impact on her business or clients.

To find out more about Zoë’s career journey and how she came to create the Women’s Investment Network, listen to this month's podcast in our Clubhouse and on all major podcast platforms here. Our podcast episodes offer you an exclusive look into the lives of our Top Ten Voices, as they tell their stories with no filter. We talk about the wins and the losses, the ups and the downs, showing our listeners at home that the road to success is never a simple path. Listen at work, at the gym, on a walk - whenever and wherever, you can find us at womensbusiness.club/s/voice.

Let's Support Zoë Cousens

Here at Women's Business Club, we are so grateful to host an amazing community of talented and inspiring women, who are all ready to help out when someone needs support. With such a range of skills, backgrounds, experiences and knowledge, there will always be someone in the Women's Business Club community with the tools to get you where you need to be. Every month we will be drawing on our community to help our featured Top Ten Voices with any support they need for their businesses.

Zoë has single-handedly cemented herself as a pillar in the finance and coaching industry, and we wanted to know if there was anything the Women’s Business Club community could do to further support her as she continues to grow.

Here are three things we can do this month to support Zoë Cousens!

  1. Zoë offers a Business Coaching Program for small-business founders, to help them with the challenges commonly faced when starting up. As someone who has set up three businesses of her own, and has been working with founders for the last ten years, she understands the roadblocks that are commonly faced in the business industry. Working with women primarily, she understands the particular challenges we can face. She states “People often mistake coaching as a fixing tool but it’s not about repairing, it’s about growth and development of skills which we usually already have”. Her experience and knowledge is offered on a cost effective monthly retainer basis, scheduled and priced to fit in with the requirements of each individual founder. If this sounds like a perfect fit to help you reach the next level of your business goals and personal potential, click here to find out more!
  2. Zoë is a regular speaker at many events focused towards women in business and would love to find new opportunities to continue speaking and to offer her experience to other women, after her 40 year career. Please feel free to get in touch with us to arrange to host Zoë as a speaker at your event, or contact her directly through her socials linked below.
  3. Finally, Zoë offers a Personal Growth Program for women looking to enhance self-awareness and resilience, build emotional regulation, change negative thought patterns, negotiate significant life transitions and feel inspired to take action sooner rather than later. She has faced many personal and professional challenges during my life and, now having studied a degree in Coaching, she enjoys working with other women to navigate their path to fulfilment and success – whatever that looks like to them. No one is perfect, and everyone has room to grow and invest in themselves for a better future! To become your better self, find Zoë’s coaching offers here.
